Pictures of Faith—-Christ 33 AD

A.  When we are talking about Faith the priests tell us Faith is something you can’t see. We are always told that no one can see the face of the Lord because He cannot be around man’s sin.  However recent excavations by archeologist have uncovered proof positive by historical evidence the following picture below is the actual picture of Christ and the thieves on the Cross;

B.  Let me change the Narrative;  Morning all y,all know me, Dr. Thomas, Phd in theology, from the University of Texas, Austin ,Texas.  Can I see a show of hands of the guests in the audience.———–Great to have all of y’all here today.  Today we are going to talk about Faith.———Before we do, we are going to take this mornings offering.—————-We all know that Faith is something we can’t see.  I have exciting news for you recent excavations by archeologist have uncovered proof positive by historical evidence the following picture below is the actual picture of Christ and the thieves on the Cross.  Can you put up slide one;

We now know what Jesus looks like he is the one in the middle.  The thief on the left is Barnabas and the one on the right is Roger.  The lady kneeling close to Christ is Mary His mother. You see the guy in the robe that is the unidentified beloved disciple.  The other woman in the picture are the ladies from Galilee,  there,s Sue, Michelle and Karen.

This is exciting news to confirm our Faith we now know what Christ looked like remember he was a man. We already know what Mary looks like,

download You remember last week, I talked about the virgin Mary that they found her picture just off the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  Before we close this morning I would like to ask for a special offering for our missionary work in the South Pole.  Ushers pass the plate, please and we will sing Faith in the Lord.  Have a good day in the Lord.

Both narratives have a shade of truth to them.  We will look at the first narrative and see if our Lord gave us proof of His existence.

A.  Can you see the face of the Lord?  Faith revolves around Truth.  Just because we were not there to see it does not mean that it was seen by others.

  • 500 hundred witnesses saw Christ after the Resurrection.
  •  Luke wrote in Lk 2: (26,(25)-30)—And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ— Here you see the Trinity.  The Holy Spirit told Luke he would see Christ which is the face of our Lord before he died.  The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost which John writes about.
  • John who witness the Cruxcition wrote this, Jn.17:21——– That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
  • The blank box is true I know for a fact back in the day no one knew what a camera was.  You will never find a picture of Jesus or Mary they were common names in 33 AD as in the present.
  • Paul wrote these words, Heb. 11:3—-Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.  If you want to understand that faith was framed (structure) by the word of God; faith was seen (read the rest of the chapter) not made of things which do appear;  simple analogy images of something or person ect.

B.   Can you see the face of God in this narrative?

  • I am the Lord thy God, thou shall not have any gods before me.
  • You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything.
  •  Def; form is the visible appearance of something like a picture
  • Like Paul wrote,  Faith is not made of things which do appear (images).
  • Def; Idol–an image or representation of a god (god is lowercase) used as an object of worship.  Just for learning if god was upper-case then it is talking about the Lord.  Keep that in mind when you read scripture between lowercase and upper-case words.

In narrative A ,it is corrected to the truth of Faith.   Faith is framed and structures worlds, yours, theirs and you over there the worlds that believe in the Lord.

In narrative B, this is pretty close to what you hear and see in any of the major christian temples around the world.  It is the word idol in the 2nd Commandment that is the kicker.  If you take the stance you cannot see the face of God. Then you would to throw out the epistle of Luke ,John and Paul.  If you do that you might as well throw out the 2nd commandment while your at it. Especially the verse John is talking about Jn.17:21 .

Father, art in me, (ron) and I(Father) in thee (ron), that they also may be one(Trinity) in us( Gen: 3:22) that the world may believe that thou hast sent me (Son).

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:

Father is first person, me is second person, I is first person, thee is second person and us refers to God. The word me is second person so it refers back to the Father because it came after the word us.  So when you look in the mirror you or either looking at the face of God  or you are looking at the face of Christ but you do not believe in the Resurrection that He rose.

FYI–When you look at the first word of the Bible Gen.1:1 God in the Hebrew language is always plural (upper case).  However the use of the word created is used as a modifier in the first sentence as an adjective to the noun God.  In the second verse you see the start of the Trinity and the spirit God moved upon the water.  You see God and the Holy Spirit, Christ has not come yet.  He does however appear in Gen 14: 18-22, Melchizedek  regarded as the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High.

I will give you a course in Faith and the use of images in selling religion.  Call this Marketing 101.  The principal is that you create a goddess then create a narrative around it and convince the poor.  In this case trading one myth for another or the 2nd commandment you are just trading one Idol with another Idol.  There is no power in that.

Around the early 1521 the Spaniards entered Mexico city and conquer the city.  The inhabitants at the time were of Aztec ancestry for the most part.  It was the Imperial Court of Spain that mandated everyone would believe in Christianity.  So they created missions that were run by Jesuit priest’s.  What the Spaniards found when they arrived in Mexico city was that the Aztecs worship a mother goddesses, the mother of all gods.

Coatlicue the mother of all gods, the narrative—According to Aztec legend, she was once magically impregnated by a ball of feathers that fell on her while she was sweeping a temple, and subsequently gave birth to the god Huitzilopochtli. Her daughter Coyolxauhqui then rallied Coatlicue four hundred other children together and goaded them into attacking and decapitating their mother. The instant she was killed, the god Huitzilopochtli suddenly emerged from her womb fully grown and armed for battle. He killed many of his brothers and sisters, including Coyolxauhqui, whose head he cut off and threw into the sky to become the moon.

To change the minds of the poor to your mindset in this case Christianity, you create a narrative—-A poor Indian named Cuauhtlatohuac was baptized and given the name Juan Diego.

Juan was walking by a hill called Tepeyac when he heard beautiful music like the warbling of birds. A radiant cloud appeared, and within it stood an Indian maiden dressed like an Aztec princess. The lady spoke to him in his own language and sent him to the bishop of Mexico, a Franciscan named Juan de Zumarraga. The bishop was to build a chapel in the place where the lady appeared.

Eventually the bishop told Juan to have the lady give him a sign. About this same time Juan’s uncle became seriously ill. This led poor Juan to try to avoid the lady. Nevertheless the lady found Juan, assured him that his uncle would recover, and provided roses for Juan to carry to the bishop in his cape or tilma.

On December 12, 1931, when Juan Diego opened his tilma in the bishop’s presence, the roses fell to the ground, and the bishop sank to his knees. On the tilma where the roses had been appeared an image of Mary exactly as she had appeared at the hill of Tepeyac.  So the bishop created the virgin of Guadalupe which is still venerated to this day in Mexico;SOD-1212-OurLadyofGuadalupe-790x480

The Spaniards got accordingly 10 million Indians to convert to Christianity for their servitude to build the missions.  Less than 10 yrs later 70 percent of the Indians died from smallpox and other diseases from the Spaniards.  All they did was change one myth for another and they got free labor all they had to do was feed them and give them sleeping quarters.

As I wrote yesterday Christians will kill themselves and turn on others.  King Herod was a Edomite and he beheaded John.  so if you one of those Christians holding a Pair of Aces and a Pair of eights,” Dead Man’s Hand”.  I would ask for a reshuffle while you can.  Me I’m holding three Aces all Kings,  The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. I do not need any cards at this time.

Get off the Via De Rosa and take the mile marker to Zion.  Go through the gates come over  to the Olive Tree with the rest of the gang.  We are all waiting for the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Law of Entropy & Christ 33 AD

The Law of Entropy is an interesting little theory that resides in the world of the second Law of Thermodynamics.  Entropy definition, as it pertains to humans, it is a lack of order or predictability that you will gradually decline into disorder over the course of time. The end result is being chaos in your life which for us results in death in both realms physically and spiritually.  Human beings are microorganisms of His creation.  In order to stabilize chaos in our lives.  God created women for us to give us order and predictability to keep chaos at bay for a time.

When it comes to the immutable Law of Entropy.  Micro-organisms do not come into random existence and automatically function as designed.  They need the help of other microorganisms to perform their function in order to grow.  The Law of Entropy exists under the umbrella of the  Second Law of Thermodynamics that also states that you can not create something out of nothing.  Easy example lightning hits a mud puddle it will not produce life.  Scientist have never been able to produce life they can clone it.  They can not create life that is a given.

Recently scientist have been studying the Octopuses an Colepids (squids) and have found a disturbing quality.  They are able to rewrite their DNA.  Their DNA has two strands, the other one is called RNA,  that they rewrite on a constant basis.  According to biologist evolution does not work that way.  It has always been asserted that microorganisms mutate into other life forms. Colepids have been around for thousands of years and never have mutated into another form.  They regularly rewrite their DNA to survive in changing water or temperature conditions.  How this ability to adapt or what triggers this rewrite is not known.  Scientist in order to keep their jobs they fall back on big word ,“Panspermia theory“, big word that only means that the ability to rewrite their DNA must have come from outer space fell to earth in a primordial soup and sparked life.

Panspermia theory falls in the realm of Circular reasoning.  Before I explain the theory of Circular reasoning.  It must be noted that in the middle of the word,“Panspermia” is the word sperm.  Circular reasoning means arguments are logically valid because if the premises are true, the conclusion is true.  So what the evolutionist are saying now that sperm flew through space at a blistering speed no heat shields like a reentering rocket to protect it and it hit the water to produce life.  If that argument is true then you would have to create another theory called, “Panwomanegg theory” that the woman’s egg flew at blistering speed, hit the water and smacked into the sperm within a protective womb and a minnow was created.  The logic falls on its own merit.  If I was to drop a bowling from 62 miles up if the reenter did not burn it up, when it hit the water it would disintegrate.

If you look at picture of the modern-day horseshoe crab. Look at the horseshoe crab in fossil records they still look the same after thousands of years.  They did not mutate into another life form.

Scientists are not willing to submit to the idea of creative design.  If they agree to a creative design then they are admitting humans did not come from apes, fish or whatever.  They would be out of a job because they rely on grants. Scientists know the chemical compositions of  DNA but do not know what sparks life.  Darwin the author of evolution in his travels around the world looking at all kinds of animals and people. Even he realized that some kind of creative design was involved.

Human beings are the most highly complex of microorganisms.  With the women being the most advanced of all.  This is because of her reproductive system that has the ability to create life.  Scientist know the chemical composition of man’s sperm and the women’s egg.  They do not know how the sperm or what causes the sperm to attach itself to the woman’s eggs and in that reaction how the spark of life is manifested in a microsecond a twinkling of an eye as it is written.  The womb protects life.

The centrality of the Resurrection is that Christ rose from the dead and walked the earth.  This was witness by over 500 people.  It is like watching the World Trade Center get hit by the airplanes and people jumping to their death.  This was seen by billions of witnesses from around the world.  We all saw it on TV.  The statistical probability that 500 or billions of witnesses were wrong in their perceptions of what they saw are none existent.  The only unknown variable to that equation is the what caused that event.

It is easier to believe in Creation by divine design.  God created the world and everything in it. then he created man and he created woman.  This was to bring order into their life to stabilize chaos and decay.  Everything God created was designed to reproduce itself. Nowhere in the world is their any microorganism that does not recreate itself this is by design.

When you get to the arguments that man came from apes it does not fly.  Everything stays within its designed DNA.  When you get into the arguments of homosexuality( Man) or lesbianism(Woman) that will not fly.  God created both to reproduce itself.  He did not after thousands of years decided to rewire the DNA in a small percentage of the population to just die off.  He did not give man or woman the ability to rewrite their DNA.

The other caveat to that is that they have proved that humans are the only micro organisms that have the second chromosome that produces logic and reasoning.  No other organism in the world can do that.

Creationism or Evolution I would go to Creationism. Since we are dealing also with the Law of Entropy the Father gave us the book to starve off disorder or predictability of chaos and death. By sending His Son to give us proof of His existence and the manual to guide our lives for eternity.

If you are an Evolutionist and playing cards you are holding what is called a, Dead Man’s Hand”, Ace of Spades, Ace of Clubs, eight of spades and a eight of clubs. Named after a famous gunfighter in the Old West , he was shot in the back.  Sort of like when Cain murdered Abel.  Call my bluff, I have a full house, two pair and three of a kind. Me and the wife and the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.  This is the covenant of the Father to His children.  I will win everytime.  The bet is high but I will always win the pot, knowledge and wisdom.  Thats my riches in heaven and my wealth not money.  It was never about money.

So the next time you are flying down the freeway on the Via De Rosa perhaps you should take the next mile marker and follow the signs to Zion, 100 miles not to long of a distance.  The Interstate to rebirth.  Learn to rewrite your destiny as it says by faith, Heb. 11:3.  Create your eternity by the word of the Lord.  Or you can play the” Dead Man’s Hand”.  We can’t rewrite our DNA but we can rewrite our destiny by the mercy of the Father.  Death or eternity the stakes are high on the table.  Show me your cards.  I will call you on your hand. I have Three of a kind and a pair. I call you on it and win ever time because I,am a son of my Father.

To the four major religions of the world including Christianity.  I would suggest you look at the cards you are holding before I call you on it.  This is not directed to the saints that have been grafted into the Olive Tree of the house of Judea. They know how to dress their brides for the wedding feast of the Lamb. To the rest of the gentiles and so called Christians, Muslims subjugating the woman you are going to kindle the angry of the Creator.

You will find me sitting under the Olive Tree just past the gates of Jerusalem, playing cards with the 12 tribes of Israel, the council of elders, the 144,00 thousand.  Just between you and me I think the deck is stack. Got to wait to see how the cards play out.

Got to go now.

Drive up ample parking go through the gates to your right and sit with me under the Olive Tree and take a rest.  I know it has been a long journey.  But the Father will come and quench your thirst and hungry, no problem.  Glad you finally made it.

Rumour Has it Your Called “The MoneyChanger”–See you in Court Christ 33 AD

I heard a rumour yesterday that you are the one called the “MONEYCHANGER”.  The same money changer that Christ overturned the tables in your Temple today?

Sorry forgot my manners.  Good morning to you how have you been doing since I left?  Family doing good , your brothers and sisters OK?  Yea I’m a little mad this morning grab yourself a big cup of coffee we are going to be here awhile. Get yourself settled on the sofa because you know as well a I do that when the LORD speaks you better listen.

Have you ever heard of Hermeneutics?  Do you even know what Hermeneutics is?  You kinda know what Apologetics is look next door and introduce yourself.

Let’s look at one verse that the money changer was selling yesterday;

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.

I have been around the world, Can I see a raise of hands?  If I ask you what the WORD Mammon means, 99 per cent of the time you are going to tell me its money.  I know you picked up the dictionary and looked up the definition for mammon and one component of the definition mammon is wealth.  I saw you do that yesterday. The Pharisees of the Temples of the worlds went one step further.  What is one synonym of the word mammon.  There it is in black and white, The Almighty Dollar and wealth is the possessions that dollars create.  Possessions, the acquiring of boats houses, jets ,building enormous Temples around the world not to leave out personal attention to yourself.  Sound about right you think?  I will let you stew on that a minute, Tick,tock,tick,tock times up.  Let’s see what just happened?

You just effectively raped that scripture that Christ spoke, spoke to Him by the Holy Spirit, framed by Father.  There are 592 synonyms for the word Rape here are some,

  • attack
  • molest–refer to the Ten Commandments, look at the word covet
  • ruin
  • corrupt
  • abuse

All you did was pick up the cat-o-nine tail and whipped that scripture to death and then had the audacity to sit in the crowd on the Freeway, “Via De Rosa” and cheer His death.  Chew on this morsel for a while, if Christ,the Holy Spirit and the Father are one, who did you just rape?  The Word or the Creator or both.  Tick, tock,tick,tock.

Don’t blame me because you did not hear the voice of His son, council of elders or His Son.  You ever been or seen a courtroom hearing. It’s very quiet and formal.  Lets pretend you’re the defendant. You enter the courtroom dressed conservatively and the Cherub motions you to your seat.  You look to your right and their sits your Prosecutor, on his lapel you read,“Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth”.   If that did not scare look at the jury, you see 12 men selected from the council of the elders of the house of Judea. Then you let you gaze turn to the Judge , He is wearing a Crown and on the Wall you see the words, “King of Kings”,  you notice that He is dressed  in a robe of white linen.

The gavel comes down and the Cherub announces to all Court is now in session.

You watch the King of Kings open a big book and finds your name although you at the time are not privy to that.  It is called exculpatory evidence. He looks around at you and the prosecutor .  The Cherub ask you to please stand for the reading of the charges.

The King of Kings presents the charges to you; ( this is called inculpatory evidence that proves guilt),

Cherub read the charges, Defendant and counsel please stand.

You are hereby charged with four counts of accessory to murder and four counts of intentional rape one count of accessory to defraud; count two being the word tithing it is not in the New Testament charge on this count has also been changed to murder and accessory to rape. Count Three is a misdemeanor, Fraud , there is no Hebrew word for pastor in the New Testament, Case Law as follows;

Count One–Mt.6:24, Luke 16: 9 & 11 & 13

Count Two– Tithing only existed under the Mosaic Law. There is no Case Law for it in the New Testament.

Count Three– Fraud there is no word for Pastor in the New Testament

The Cherub looks at you, How does your client wish to plead.

Issac your counselor looks at you and speak,s , How do you want to plead?  You don’t know, your scared, I would be scared out of my pants too. I was facing 10 years in a Federal Penitentiary on a weapons charge years ago. Well this is just an arraignment hearing against you; you can plead not guilty, jury trial by your peers or you can plead no contest and the King of Kings will judge you in closed court.

Isaac counsels you and turns to the Judge. Sir, my client pleads not guilty at this time and would like the court to entertain the followings motion, Proceed counselor;

  1. I motion that my client be released from jail, no bail set, she is a viable asset to the community prior to this incident.  She should be released to my custody.  I don,t consider her a flight risk.
  2. I motion that at trial my client reserves the right to change her plea to no-contest.
  3. I motion that before we come to trial that my client be allowed a co-counsel.
  4. I request a mistrial on the grounds that the statute of limitations has run out on Count One 33 AD, Count Two 1300 BC, Count Three ,Fraud, there is no word in the Hebrew language for pastor. I believe the prosecutor changed the unidentified Hebrew word to Pastor at the council of Nice around 325 BC. Case Law cannot be based on one scripture.  There would have had to been established Law to properly use the word Pastor in the Old Testament, there is no statute

Counsel for the State you have any motions present them now; Ishmael stands up and speaks,

  1. On motion One,  I request that the defendant be held in confinement till trial date and bail be set at a half million dollars.
  2. On motion Two , I object, the defendant cannot change her plea at trial.
  3. On motion Three, The State reserves the right to know who the defendants co-counsel name is.
  4. On motion Four, Fraud was committed and should stand.
  5. On the issue of a mistrial, Sir, by you own words you made the Case law

It is so quiet in the courtroom you could hear a pin drop———————————————————–Then He spoke, Would the counselors for the State and the defendant please stand.

He looked at Ishmael and spoke, I know your Father Abraham , good man but you did not hear your mom , Hagar, pleaded for your life in the wilderness. You did not hear her Shame I heard you.  I see you represent the gentles and the Muslim nations—- I,m going to release the defendant into the custody of her counsel no bail set at this time.  The defendant at a later date will be allowed to change her plea if we go to trial.  On motion three I will grant that request, Isaac you have any objections to that No Sir, I,am going to let the fraud charge stand.——–He then speaks to Isaac I know your Father Abraham and you mom Sara-I don,t know if she told but I talked to her one time—-I see you represent the house of Judea and those that are grated into the olive tree as it is written—-I,m going to release the defendant into you custody—Your motion for a change of plea—I will bind that over to trial—–I will grant the states right for you to divulge the co-counsels name before trial—-Count Three will stand—-As far as a mistrial objection overruled.

Any objections–this Court will set trial, Docket number: #Rev.20,11,12,13—-time and date to be set by Me sometime in the future.

Courts adjourned.

Hermeneutics is the common sense approach to PROPERLY again emphasize PROPERLY  interpreting the scriptures. You, you have to follow some criteria when reading the New or Old Testament.

  1. Who’s doing the talking?  Christ, Apostles, Disciples
  2. What is the authors intent
  3. Is the scripture backed by other scripture.  Large portions of the gospel comes from the Old Testament,
  4. What was the time period 33 AD. The Jewish people were still under the Mosaic Law and the Rabbinical Law.
  5. The Jewish people were and agrarian society. Use of money was penalized under the Mosaic Law.  You were to tithe 10 percent of your food produce and your animals on occasion.

Case in point;

  1. Look at Luke 16:13 , This red-letter which attributes it to Christ talking. He refers to the word Mammon  If you look at verse 6,7, Christ is talking about oil and wheat. Look at the other verses in Luke 16, ie, 11, and Mt. 6:24. Here you have two chapters on mammon. They both support an agrarian society, oil and water. If Luke was quoting Christ then why did not Christ allude to money?
  2. The word Pastor Eph. 4: 11, the word under Pastors the Heb. language in that scripture was of unidentified origins. Most scholars think it meant Sheppard until the 3rd Century Church 325 Ad and they put the greek word pastor in that scripture. I would go with the word shepherd, you see that in Abel ,Gen. 4:2, the first keeper of the sheep.  This is an image of Christ around 3200 BC.  Adam was the first before sin, Man after sin.  Abel was the first keeper of the sheep.
  3. Tithing does not exist in the New Testament.  When Christ died on the Cross the Mosaic Law, tithing, died when Him. We are under different precepts under Grace built upon precepts of the Old Testament.

In the temples today tithing is nothing more than a tax on your faith instituted by the lady on the seven hills around 1682 AD.  The European states at the same time also instituted a 10 percent tax on their people.  Following in the steps of the church.

Anyway I am going to leave for now.  Take care and say your prayers. Just a simple man from Texas waiting for you in Zion.

If you ever find you way back to Zion ample parking outside go through the gates and to the right you will see an Olive Tree , come sit down and rest awhile.  We have all been waiting for you. Especially your Father, he,ll be back in a minute.  He had to attend to a court case.

Did Christ Live

That has to be the foremost question in the belief for the existence of Christ.  Did he live? To defend your belief the first question is was He real, did He live where is the proof?  You have sat too long in the church not knowing what or why you believe only that someone with a college degree is telling you the truth.

Did Christ live I am going to give you 12 outside sources that attest to Christ life. The first one comes from Josephus Flavius a first century Jew that wrote for the the Roman Empire.

About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man.  For he was one who performed surprising deeds and was a teacher of such people as accept the truth gladly. He won over many Jews and many of the Greeks. He was the Messiah. And when, upon the accusation of the principal men among us, Pilate had condemned him to a cross, those who had  first come to love him did not cease.  He appeared to them spending a third day restored to life, for the prophets of God had foretold these things and a thousand other marvels about him.  And the tribe of the Christians, so called after him, has still to this day not disappeared.

The next one; the Talmud

The Talmud contains passages that some scholars have concluded are references to Christian traditions about Jesus (through mentions of an individual called “Yeshu”, a derivative of Jesus’ Aramaic name Yeshua)

The next one is Tacitus

The Roman historian and senator Tacitus referred to Christ, his execution by Pontius Pilate, and the existence of early Christians in Rome in one page of his final work, Annals (written ca. AD 116), book 15, chapter 44.

The context of the passage is the six-day Great Fire of Rome that burned much of the city in AD 64 during the reign of Roman Emperor Nero. The passage is one of the earliest non-Christian references to the origins of Christianity, the execution of Christ described in the canonical gospels, and the presence and persecution of Christians in 1st-century Rome.

Scholars generally consider Tacitus’ reference to the execution of Jesus by Pontius Pilate to be both authentic, and of historical value as an independent Roman source.

Historian Ronald Mellor has stated that the Annals is “Tacitus’s crowning achievement” which represents the “pinnacle of Roman historical writing”.Scholars view it as establishing three separate facts about Rome around AD 60:  that there were a sizable number of Christians in Rome at the time,  that it was possible to distinguish between Christians and Jews in Rome, and  that at the time pagans made a connection between Christianity in Rome and its origin in Roman Judea.

The next one is  Thallus

  1. Jesus of Nazareth existed.
  2. Some people believed Him to be the Messiah.
  3. He had many disciples from both Jews and Gentiles.
  4. He was condemned to death by crucifixion under Pontius Pilate.
  5. His disciples testified that Jesus rose from the dead three days after His death.
  6. His disciples proclaimed the resurrection of Christ.

Thallus (c. A.D. 52)

The next one is Lucian of Samosata;

“The Christians, you know, worship a man to this day,–the distinguished personage who introduced their novel rites, and was crucified on that account…and then it was impressed on them by their original lawgiver that they are all brothers, from the moment that they are converted, and deny the gods of Greece, and worship the crucified sage, and live after his laws.”

The next one is

Pliny the Younger on Jesus Christ

They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to do any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food—but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.

The next one is  Celsus;

Jesus had come from a village in Judea, and was the son of a poor Jewess who gained her living by the work of her own hands. His mother had been turned out of doors by her husband, who was a carpenter by trade, on being convicted of adultery [with a soldier named Panthéra (i.32)]. Being thus driven away by her husband, and wandering about in disgrace, she gave birth to Jesus, a bastard. Jesus, on account of his poverty, was hired out to go to Egypt. While there he acquired certain (magical) powers which Egyptians pride themselves on possessing. He returned home highly elated at possessing these powers, and on the strength of them gave himself out to be a god.

The next is Mara bar Serapion

What else can we say, when the wise are forcibly dragged off by tyrants, their wisdom is captured by insults, and their minds are oppressed and without defense? What advantage did the Athenians gain from murdering Socrates? Famine and plague came upon them as a punishment for their crime. What advantage did the men of Samos gain from burning Pythagoras? In a moment their land was covered with sand. What advantage did the Jews gain from executing their wise king? It was just after that their kingdom was abolished. God justly avenged these three wise men: the Athenians died of hunger; the Sumerians were overwhelmed by the sea and the Jews, desolate and driven from their own kingdom, live in complete dispersion. But Socrates is not dead, because of Plato; neither is Pythagoras, because of the statue of Juno; nor is the wise king, because of the “new law” he laid down.

These are 12 of the great historians  of the 1st thru the 2rd century folks who acknowledge  Christ this is why we believe but this is not the end of it. What are the other criteria. The oral traditions how was it passed down to the folks.  We already see that the historians of old conceded that Christ existed.  Christ is the only belief system that rose from the dead. We will see the oral traditions tomorrow.

Christ lives but not in the pulpits of the Church of today they denied the existence of Christ. They teach you garbage.

Love you all
