Ancient Semitic Cognitive Thoughts 4000 BC

The Great Flood

Since I know that the Relativity of Time moves at a snails pace even though we are hurtling through. space at light speed.  Then it becomes easy to postulate that the Relativity of  History, governments, religions and social constructs of cultures  moves at a snails pace.  This is easily identifiable through careful observations of linguistically formulations and constructions of the mythology of thoughts and religious overtures.  It is not that history repeats itself but it never moves in Quantum leaps.  What was then is still now.  Human behavior is contained and was contained once the ancient Semitic people moved out of the late Bronze age and stepped into the Iron age when the first city states were created . You went from a nomadic lifestyle to being contained within the borders of the city-states of Kings and Priests.

We will advance further into the minds of the ancient Mesopotamia in the coming blog series starting with the Great Flood.  Starting at the image of the Iron Man, 587 BC.  Interpreting the words of Daniel before we travel further back in time.

Thoughts from the past are with us in the present foci of elliptical orbits.  Example, Semitic case law;  If you understand the sexual culture of a nation you understand how their religion forms their culture.

Code Of Nesilim: Ancient Laws Of The Hittites 1650 BC

187. If a man have intercourse with a cow, it is a capital crime, he shall die. They shall lead him to the king’s hall. But the king may kill him, the king may grant him his life. But he shall not approach the king.

188. If a man have intercourse with his own mother, it is a capital crime, he shall die. If a man have intercourse with a daughter, it is a capital crime, he shall die. If a man have intercourse with a son, it is a capital crime, he shall die.

190. If a man and a woman come willingly, as men and women, and have intercourse, there shall be no punishment. And if a man have intercourse with his stepmother, there shall be no punishment; except if his father is living, it is a capital crime, the son shall die.

199. If anyone have intercourse with a pig or a dog, he shall die. If a man have intercourse with a horse or a mule, there is no punishment. But he shall not approach the king, and shall not become a priest. If an ox spring upon a man for intercourse, the ox shall die but the man shall not die. One sheep shall be fetched as a substitute for the man, and they shall kill it. If a pig spring upon a man for intercourse, there is no punishment.  If any man have intercourse with a foreign woman and pick up this one, now that one, there is no punishment.

If a pig spring upon a man for intercourse.   I am the victim here the pig raped me.   The young people think they are creating a new world free from sexual restraints.  It has already been tried it is an old thought,

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” King Solomon ( 970 BC Jerusalem)

The Iron Man Of Daniels Dream

“the second year of the reign of king Nebuchadnezzar, ” (2:1), 603 BCE); “the first year of Darius, . Jews were in exile Babylon until 587 BC.

32 This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

To Interpret this dream you start at the bottom and ascend up.  With an understanding of the cultures of the Late Bronze age and the start of the Iron age.   Knowledge of the functionality of gold and silver in Dynastic cultures.

The Iron and Brass represents the ages between the Late Bronze age and the Dynastic Iron age. When the ancient Semitics created city-states they learned how to melt down gold and silver and turned them into coinage to sustain the economy. Only skilled craftsman an going up the social strata (Jacobs) ladder to the royalty of the Divine Authority of the Priests and Priestess bartered in gold and silver. The common person and the slaves were given food and shelter with their labor going to build the Temples and serve in the armies. Priests and Priestesses always loomed larger then life because they controlled life and death with the help of their gods.

[The attainment of wealth (OCPD) (Priests and Kings) in an individual becomes a personality disorder characterized by excessive concern with ordinariness perfectionism attention to detail, mental and interpersonal relationships the need to control ones environment interfering with interpersonal relationships.]

When this happens a person and his kingdom falls into disrepair.  His ideas of grander turns into a large garbage dump like a mountain.   His or her walls crumble and blow away in the winds of time and space.

Daniel was talking about the Divine Authority of in this case of King Nebuchadnezzar reigned 43 years (605- 562 BC). The stone that was thrown was the past history of kingdoms in the lands of Ancient Mesopotamian that had fallen the Sumerians, the Akkadians etc. When nations fall the economic fallout and the quality of life disintegrates back into the earth. It is a flood that covers the known world in this case and area 300 mi by 150 mi bordered by the Tigris rivers and the Euphrates rivers.

The feet of clay is a reference to the thought of the attainment, becoming opulent in the eyes of others around you.  It has no solid foundation (stone) as it crumbles into misery, depressions and like King Nebuchadnezzar you walk around like an animal on all fours.

All suffer except the common person who has learned to survive with the resources around him or her that has already been provided since time began, Creation.

If you think that the stone thrown is a shadow of Christ,  then you need to ask why Samson picked up a Christ stone and knocked Goliath down.   Even in ancient Mythology the gods and goddesses never picked up another god and threw him or her at another god.  They took care of their own mischief.  I accept one Father not a shadow.

This should help you understand what the Great Flood that covered the world means.  We visit the accounts of the great flood from the Ancient Mesopotamian.

    1. In the cosmology of the ancients this is called a chthonic relationship; Chthonic relationship means earth, things that live above or below.
      An + Nammu
Nammu is the mother of heaven and earth. In cosmology and chthonic sexual relationship this is known as the immaculate virgin birth of thought.
      God + Mary
The serpent in the times of the ancients was symbolic of fertility and water. A thought is hard as the seed of a man. When he plants his seed in virgin soil it produces a plant or animal. Ones mind is the womb of creation, virgin soil that begat’s plants and animals.

      1. This is all so new to me, the terminology, your explanation of the flood, explains it all so clear. It simplifies the mixed up explanations I see with my eyes as I read the words from a KJ book.
