Psalms 51: 1- 7

He came unto Ron after I went into the pools of [Bathsheba] the religions of man.  I knelt and worshiped strange gods and deities.  I now give myself into your hands Father, my soul, to your lovingkindness to blot out my transgressions of kneeling before other gods that flowed like rivers from the head of one man, Adam.

Let the mist of your breath come across my face wash the dust from my eyes. Let your hands help me stand up.   So that I may stand in your presence in the opulence of your face.

I accept my responsibility because the idols of men were always before my eyes.

Cleanse me from the gods that I knelt before so I can hear your voice when you speak and your judgement is clear in my mind and heart.  You watched me from above yet you withheld judgement.

My sins were sharpened in darkness and in sin did my mother conceive me years ago.

I sought your truth in my mind and you revealed your wisdom in the dark regions of my heart.

Cleanse my soul with the oils of the Hyssop plant……..

In the Old Testament hyssop was used to sprinkle blood as part of the Jewish Passover. Hyssop was mentioned in the Bible for its cleansing effect in connection with plague, leprosy and chest ailments and symbolically in cleansing the soul.

In 50 yrs I never left my post.  I lamented many years ago I wanted to raise a daughter.  He gave me many daughters in many parts of the world.  It is fascinating for me to watch them grow into beautiful Women of Creation. My side of the family we haven’t had a daughter in 110 yrs.

You can  bathe in the waters of your Father. Or you can bathe yourself in the pools of Men and their altars and never heal what ails you.
