Interpretations of Habakkuk 3: 17 – 18

Leningrad Codex Aramaic Translations  Habakkuk 3

17…that fig tree not she is budding and there is no crop in the vines he is dissimulating yields of olive and plantations not he yields food he serves from fold in the herd in the paddock.

18…and *I in Yahweh I shall be joyous I shalt exalt in Elohim of salvation of me.

*I found my salvation and became mighty and strong in the One that gave me my life back from the hands of men that stole my identity.

Body of a Man Pastor Ray Rick New Living Translations

Hk. 3:17 Though the fig-tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,

Hk. 3:18 yet I will rejoice in the *LORD, I will be joyful in God my Saviour.

*LORD is a deliberate insertion of a word that is not there in the original translations.  It refers to Jesus a man who will not show up until hundreds of years later.  This called Behavioral Conditioning of one’s mind to serve the body of man.

Pastors Rick translations of Habakkuk 3:17-18

When things get hopeless and seem uncontrollable, what do you do, or where do you turn? Habakkuk the biblical prophet knew what to do when things seemed completely hopeless. His world was falling apart around him. There was destruction everywhere. But Habakkuk knew that God was greater than what he was facing. So what did he do? He invited God into his circumstances by rejoicing and praising Him.

What situation are you facing? Does life seem dark or hopeless? No matter how difficult things may seem, God has a plan to bring you out into a place of victory. Your praise is the bridge that will carry you through, because your praise connects you to your Deliverer. Hallelujah

All he says was how depressed you are and you need the body of a man to deliver you from your misery.

Gross misinterpretation of Habakkuk 3: 17 – 18.  Habakkuk was lamenting that the people turned away from the voice of the One who created them.  They left the voice of the One and listen to the voice of other gods.

Figs represent Life the family, grapes are the children.  Olives represents life for the family.  Life fails when families leave the fields like cattle when they follow the voice of man.  Your barns will become barren over time.

Habakkuk had no college education he was a common man like me.  Yet he heard the voice of the One that created him.

When Moses went to commune with the One who created him.  The people left the One and created a golden calf to worship.  Because the body of a man wanted to worshipped the gods of the Pharaohs.  Who promises to deliver you from your miseries.

The One who created you in the Garden of Trees will not destroy you.  You will hear his voice in your silence.   It is the body of a man, the serpent.  Who stands between you and joining the rest of the people that have gone before you in the Garden of Trees and found eternal life.  It is husband and wife that hear the voice of One and become a set of Trees and create life around them.

I do not deny the One who created me and now use my talents to create life in others, words using my hands to raise them from the dead.

Some will see the light some won’t that is just a fact of life.  Cut out the body of man, the serpent that blocks your eyes to the One that created you.  That will only happen when your desire to live overrides what the body of a  man told you on how to live your life.  Pastor Rick and others like him; he called the darkness.
