Land of the Hebrews Pt 2

…………………………Crossing the River Jordan…………….

Walk down the Via Dolorosa, Hebrews 4, together, in the dusty streets of Jerusalem around 33 AD.

My own mind is my own church

 The path is very narrow

Take my Hand and walk with me and He will carry us thru

Walking Into Jerusalem

On a long and lonesome path of life
East of Eden
You can listen to the wind
crying out his song
You can think about Abba
or the girl you knew the night before
But your thoughts will soon be wondering
the way they always do
When you’re walking sixteen hours
and there’s nothing to do
And you don’t feel much like talking,
you just wish the trip was through
Here I am
On the road with you
There I am
Up in the heavens
There you go
playing’ like a star again
Then I will go
Turn the page
When you walk into Zion,
strung out from life
And you feel my eyes upon you
as you’re shaking’ off the dust
Pretend it doesn’t bother you
but you just want to explode
Most times you can’t hear me talk,
other times you can
All the same old clichés,
“Is that you Father”
And you always seem outnumbered
and you fell down, stand up
Here I am
On the road with you
There I am
Up in the heavens
There you go
playing’ like a star again
Out there in Your Garden
you’re a million miles away
Every ounce of energy
slipping away
As the sweat pours out your body
like the songs that you play
Later in the evening
as you lie awake in bed
With the noise of the city
ringing’ in your head
You ate at the Lord’s Supper
remembering’ what He said
Here I am
On the Via Dolorosa
There I am
On the Via Dolorosa
Here I am
Before your eyes
On the Streets of

Hebrews 4

3:19-b … to enter in, because they did not believe.

4:5 Yet here again he saith, They shall not enter into my rest.

4:6 Therefore, because there was a place * into which every one of
them might have entered, and they who had it announced first did not
enter in, forasmuch as they would not be persuaded;

* Athro, a region. your heart a place of worship, heart and mind are the same thing in the Hebrew perspective.  My own mind is my own church

4:7 moreover, (as) another day he appointeth, after much time; as
above it is written, that # David hath said, To-day if his voice ye will hear,
harden not your hearts; but if

# king David
4:8 [Jeshu-(bar-Nun)] had established them in rest, ** he [would] not have
spoken afterwards of another day:

(bar-nun) someone of importance.

** Given them rest.

[ God’s word] had established (you) them in rest……..

KJV version-8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day

Jesus did not give the people rest….that would indicate he was a god.  But Jeshu-bar-nun gave you God’s Word so you could rest.

There is a difference between someone establishing rest and someone given you rest.

The only thing Jesus gave was God’s word, Your rest comes from believing in Gods word.  Jesus like me we have no power, we are not Gods, we only give you His Words.  It is up to you if you want to rest, that is between you and the Father.

God rested from his creation (you) in the Garden of Eden.  Your still tilling in the Garden of Man, East of Eden, were you have no rest from the animals around you destroying your Garden, memories of Cain.
