Sundays Thoughts on the Mashiyach: 2 Cor. 5: 16- 20, Khabouris Codex

Me and the wife were sitting up late Saturday night listening to one the TV evangelist speak about the trouble times America is in and how we should handle the problems in life that batter the shores of our flesh .  His talk centered around 2 Cor. 5: 16 – 20: the verses are as follows from the KJV;

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

His proposition was that if we believe in Christ then we are a new man a new woman.  We are to put on a new life and become ambassadors of reconciliation to others.  We are to see things through the lens of Christ.  It all sounds good like a cake with super sweet icing on top.  He after talking for about 20 minutes ended with a prayer that we have all heard in many ways and many tongues.

We thank you God for sending your son to die for our sins and that we may be ambassadors for Christ in the name of Christ Amen….. He is either lying to you or he is following the herd to keep you ignorant.

I came across what is called the Khabouris Codex it was found in Kurdistan in 1966 in a small church and brought to the United States.  The Turkish government seized it from the church and gave it to America in our around 1970.   Its colophon is the oldest known Syriac – Aramaic Codex known to exist dated from the early part of the 3rd century it sits today in the US Library of Congress.  Here is the same verses from 2 Cor. 5: 16 – 20;

5:16 And henceforth we no man know according to the flesh;** and if we have
known the Meshiha according to the flesh,** yet from now we know not.

** Baphgar, “In the body.”  Meshiha is a messenger of the Lord a anointed person

5:17 Whoever therefore is in the Meshiha is a new creature; the old
things have passed, and every thing hath become new from Aloha,

Aloha means Elohim (God) but because Aloha ends in (a) it makes it feminine gender.  It shows the mercy side of God

5:18 who hath reconciled us to himself in the Meshiha, and given to us
the ministry of reconciliation.

We are to reconcile ourselves to his messenger literally means his word and His ministry of reconciliation.

5:19 For Aloha( God) is in the Meshiha(word), who hath reconciled the world with
his greatness; and he hath not reckoned unto them their sins, and hath
put in us the word of reconciliation.

God is the messenger ………., and hath put us (me and you) in the word of reconciliation

X. 5:20 WE are ambassadors then for the Meshiha, and as if Aloha
himself besought you by us: instead of the Meshiha,
+ therefore, we beseech, Be you reconciled unto Aloha.

+Chaloph Meshiha means the anointed one.  Be reconciled unto one God not the messenger of  God that is what this verse is saying written thousands of years ago and it follow the ancient Hebrew text.  There are two witnesses to the same truth you are the third witness.

To be ambassadors or pray to Christ who is not even mentioned in these verses you are serving an unknown god.   I reconciled myself to one God reconciled by his ministry of reconciliation his word handed down for thousands of years.  “Be reconciled unto Aloha (God).  I am an ambassador for the teachings of one God.

Have a great Sunday disseminating the words and find an absolute truth reconcile your heart which for the Ancient Hebrew was your heart.

I am not Jewish but I do follow the lifestyle of one God who does not keep me in slavery or makes me feel good all the time, He does lay His hand on me to correct me from time to time.
