The difference between Eastern Philosophy and Western Philosophy
1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
The voice of the Lord within me guided me to look into the areas of Philosophy to explore the relationships in the world between two major cultures from the past to the present; the Hebrew (or eastern) culture and the Greek (or western) culture. This has to do with how the Hebrews viewed life, lives and their relationships to Elohim.
Elohim of the Hebrews has its roots in the ancient past of Eastern Philosophy cultures which includes the Far East ( including Japan and China), Middle East (Including India and Babylon, and the Near East (including Egypt and Israel)
Gods in the Western Philosophy has its roots in the ancient Greek culture from the philosophers the likes of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.
The influence of the Greeks started expanding their cultural philosophy around 200 BC colliding with the Hebrew cultural philosophy and for over 400 years great battles took place across the ancient lands of Mesopotamia. The Greeks finally won and in the ensuing chaos they erased all of the Hebrew philosophy of Elohim their culture and lives. The Western Philosophy of the Greeks has influenced the cultures of the Roman and European cultures and the American cultures to include modern-day Israel.
The problem with Western Philosophy is the misinterpretations an translations of the text and content of the Word. This is where the Old Testament and the writer of Revelation is talking about they erased the God of the Hebrews which I have stated before at the council of Nicaea in 325 AD.
“As 20th Century Americans with a strong Greek thought influence, we read the Hebrew Bible as if a 20th Century American had written it. In order to understand the ancient Hebrew culture in which the Tenakh was written in, we must examine some of the differences between Hebrew and Greek thought“.
I am not denying the existence of Christ but I have always had qualms with how it is taught in the Western Hemisphere by the Churches. They never tell you about the God of the Hebrews, Elohim, they always tie your faith, salvation, redemption and the other adjectives to money and obedience to Christ who was born a man born in the Spirit of God no different from me or you. You become chained to the Western Philosophies of the Greeks and the slew of gods and goddesses they created. The Virgin Mary the goddesses of all living things is a great example who has roots back to Babylon. Throw in the Virgin Guadalupe and you are rolling a pair of snake eyes.
If you are going to set your life to a concrete philosophy of thought then it is on your shoulders to examine all the parameters to fully explain your position. I have seen to many people walk around claiming Christ as their savior then make fools of themselves like I pointed out yesterday.
You had a prodigy of the church tell people who homosexuality is a sin, Which I noted that word is not in the Bible. She understands sin then she makes the claim that God created sin, homosexuality. Because she believes what the church taught her, she accepts a non functional lifestyle as ok. A nonfunctional lifestyle will never create life, your only masking the deeper problems that lie within you and until you face your fears you will always be dysfunctional.
Linguistic Analysis of Scriptural Context between Abstract and Concrete Thoughts.
Greek thought views the world through the mind (abstract thought). Ancient Hebrew thought views the world through the senses (concrete thought).
Concrete thought is the expression of concepts and ideas in ways that can be seen, touched, smelled, tasted and/or heard. All five of the senses are used when speaking and hearing and writing and reading the Hebrew language. An example of this can be found in Psalms 1:3; “He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither.” In this passage we have concrete words expressing abstract thoughts, such as a tree (one who is upright, righteous), streams of water (grace), fruit (good character) and an withered leaf (prosperity).
Abstract thought is the expression of concepts and ideas in ways that cannot be seen, touched, smelled, tasted or heard. Hebrew never uses abstract thought as English does. Examples of Abstract thought can be found in Psalms 103:8; “The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger, abounding in love.” As you noticed I said that Hebrew uses concrete and not abstract thoughts, but here we have such abstract concepts as compassionate, gracious, anger, and love in a Hebrew passage. Actually these are abstract English words translating the original Hebrew concrete words. The translators often translate this way because the original Hebrew makes no sense when literally translated into English.
As you can see context is everything in understanding the Word. I shy away from commenting too much in New Testament by virtue I know from history that the early church already corrupted the sayings. Without a concise manuscript in front of me it becomes rather tenuous to make a factual statement.
However if you look at the verbage coming out of the Roman Empire, God created homosexuals created pedophiles, open borders, climate change and his church for which you have to go to man to redeem your salvation, redemption and the like. All you are doing is following the Western Philosophy of the Church steeped in paganism. You see the same verbiage spilling out like a sewer from the altars of America covering the land with a stench that reaches the heavens and nostrils of the LordGod who created us .
As I have stated before the Spirit of America lies in the redemption of common sense that are burning down the cities of the European Union. America’s redemption can only be achieved if the pastors of America quit spilling your blood and water and turn your eyes back across the Jordan river and you cross into the ancient lands of the Hebrews to find Elohim the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
If nothing else go to Golgotha and crucify your mind to the Western Philosophy of Christ and find Elohim who shaped you and made you a functional person in the Garden shaped from the dust of the earth. Instead of a dysfunctional person in the body of Christ that the altars of Rome spew from their tongues and blinds your eyes to the glory of the ancient God of Abraham.
We will continue in the next blog the concept of appearance and functional descriptions in the Hebrew language.
