Sundays Discernment; Judges 9 : 17

Judges 17 takes a little history to understand what the verse is talking about.  We left off with the bramble bush, vs. 14 -15, which is a reference to Moses on the mount and the voice of the Lord talking to Him in the symbolism of a burning bush.  Let’s look at the verse and break it down;

17 (For my father fought for you, and adventures his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:

History

According to the Book of Genesis, the Midianites were the descendants of Midian, who was a son of Abraham and his wife Keturah: “Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah”

Keturah was a concubine and wife of the Biblical patriarch Abraham. According to the Book of Genesis, Abraham married Keturah after the death of his first wife, Sarah. Abraham and Keturah had six sons.

Discernment of History

A concubine would mean she was a slave who had a lower status then a wife.  Keturah was a slave the same as Hagar whose son was Ishmael which is the linkage of the Gentiles.  Keturah represents the woman of the upper Arab peninsula of the Muslim religion they were of lower status, the husband could have sex with her and have children that were slaves.  This is the spirituality of slavery for the woman to the altars of men.

So the Midianites considered the woman chattel which is still prevalent around the world today.  Even in the Western Hemisphere where the church of men will teach the young males that the woman caused the sins of mankind.  This is pure bunk and bull dung.  They in turn make themselves masters over the woman this goes on around the world every day.

So for the Women that are considering a belief in one God the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob become a free woman in the bosom of the Lord and not a slave to men of darkness.  Your freedom lies in the Spirit of God and let Him come across your face and heart.

For the man the woman is not your handmaiden or concubine she is the helpmeet of God who created her and made her the helpmeet of the man.   The man is to cleave to the woman not the other way around.

The father in this verse is referring to Jethro who was the father in law of Moses.  Who followed the Abrahamic God.  He traveled out of the floodplains of the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers into the upper regions of the Arab peninsula and freed the slaves, male or female from the yoke of the Midianite gods.

So the Jewish people migrated down to the land of the Canaanites who had their own gods and wanted a king which of course is Abimelech.  Kings as we can see always had concubines we see this in king, Saul, David, Solomon who by himself had hundreds of wives and concubines.  The men had heard of the one God and was wanting God to rule over them but the men were not willing to give up their made up authority over every living thing, ie, the woman.  They wanted to keep her and her children in slavery all their lives and as you can see that spirit of darkness is prevalent across the Middle East and elsewhere in the World in all countries to include the United States.

When we look at vs. 18 it says that Abimelech was a son of a handmaiden.  I grew up in America an as a young man I was influenced by looking at my parents marriage from the altars of the church that the woman was subservient to the man.  It has taken me a lot of years to de program myself from the spirituality of darkness to see the light.  My wife is now a freewoman and I am a freeman in the Spirit of God because He came across my face one day and opened my eyes to the slavery of the churches that men make.

As a woman you want to stay as a concubine then listen to the altars of men or you can open the Word with a good dictionary and free yourself from the yoke of slavery and create your own world from Faith in contrast to the land you were born in.

As a young man you have no authority over the Woman but a co equality in freedom in the spirituality of the one God who created you and both of you in a marriage find the Spirit of Christ that flows through your blood.

Saturday Parable of the Fig Tree: Judge 9:10 – 15

We are going to look at a parable in the Word that exemplifies the power of the Word and the power of one God over your life.   Christ spoke in parables in the New Testament as well, to understand the parables, you have to put things in context to understand the spiritual aspects of what is written.

What you are seeing in vs. 10 – 15 are men that are asking the Lord [Holy Spirit speaking to them] in the symbolism of a fig tree.  Figs are a sweet fruit and a dietary food staple for a lot of countries in the Middle East even to this day.  The narrative is the same, God is asking men, you want to serve a king and me also?  He asks the question 3 times and tells man you are going to promote yourself over me?  As I have said before you cannot serve man and God at the same time it is like mixing oil and water they do not mix.

10 And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, andreign over us.

11 But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?

12 Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, andreign over us.

The narrative changes to the use of the word vine which refers to one God one Word one Holy Spirit.

13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

So now God is asking man if He should give up His authority and give it up to men where it states you want to promote yourself over other men, trees?

14 Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.

Bramble is a burning bush this refers to Moses when he went to the mountain and God spoke to him.   Men are still asking the Lord to reign over them?  If you notice the word and reign are conjoined in vs. 10 – 12 that is referring you back to your creation the first 7 days. Now you are in the garden of man who are talking to God remember men made Abimelech king.  There is a difference between the word made and create.  Man makes things appear God created things by Faith in the spiritual realm.

15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

The the LordGod speaks to the men of Shechem and tells them if they make Him king in their lives then they can find shade under His arms.  If not then the fire  of the bramble bush, fire is always judgement since the flood of Noah will devour the cedars of Lebanon.  What this statement is talking about cedars are men that think they smell great they are righteous and pure.  Lebanon is talking about mount Lebanon which is near Beirut a snow-capped mount that means purity.  Mount always refers to men’s minds the place of a skull.  A cedar tree is a sweet-smelling wood the smell of evergreens.

16 Now therefore, if ye have done truly and sincerely, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands;

Now God is telling the men you want to serve man I will give you over to their hands you made Abimelech king and you will be judge according to the measure of your hands.

Rev. 22: 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

There is a lot of things being said in the spirit in just a couple of words if you are not taught to discern the scriptures then you will follow men of the altars that will tell you that Judges 9 is dealing with politics as it is stated you cannot serve man his self interest and expect God to hear your prayers there is a judgement to be paid.  Serving men is when you serve the altars ie, the Pope or the other men of the church you are serving man and not God.
