Clarification on Satan/Devil/Serpent

Reprint from and article will there ever be Peace;

Since the time of the Garden of Eden the human race has rejected God.  Satan used a tactic on Adam and Eve that was very appealing to our human desire for knowledge.  He told them, “You will be like God, knowing good and evil.”  Full understanding, knowledge and wisdom are what Satan said the results would be for eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Part of the deception of Satan is that we can make everything right on our own.  All of the  wars and rocket attacks and political posturing can be put right if we just talk to one another and work it out.  We can so it—-or so we imagine.  All we have to do is shake enough hands and compromise with our neighbors and we can achieve peace.

In the Garden , God told Man the following; [Gen.2:17-16]

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Part of the deception of Satan–In Christianity, Satan is also known as the Devil and, although the Book of Genesis does not mention him, he is often identified as the serpent in the Garden of Eden. In medieval times, Satan played a minimal role in Christian theology and was used as a comic relief figure in mystery plays. During the early modern period, Satan’s significance greatly increased as beliefs such as demonic possession and witchcraft became more prevalent. During the Age of Enlightenment, belief in the existence of Satan became harshly criticized. Nonetheless, belief in Satan has persisted, particularly in the Americas.

The serpent in the Garden;

Etymology

Serpents (Hebrew: נחש‎ nāḥāš) are referred to in both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament. The symbol of a serpent or snake played important roles in religious and cultural life of ancient Egypt, Canaan, Mesopotamia and Greece. The serpent was a symbol of evil power and chaos from the underworld as well as a symbol of fertility, life and healing

History

The ancient Mesopotamians believed that their deities lived in Heaven, but that a god’s statue was a physical embodiment of the god himself.  As such, cult statues were given constant care and attention and a set of priests were assigned to tend to them. These priests would clothe the statues and place feasts before them so they could “eat”.  A deity’s temple was believed to be that deity’s literal place of residence. The gods had boats, full-sized barges which were normally stored inside their temples  and were used to transport their cult statues along waterways during various religious festivals. The gods also had chariots, which were used for transporting their cult statues by land.  Sometimes a deity’s cult statue would be transported to the location of a battle so that the deity could watch the battle unfold. The major deities of the Mesopotamian pantheon were believed to participate in the “assembly of the gods”, through which the gods made all of their decisions. This assembly was seen as a divine counterpart to the semi-democratic legislative system that existed during the Third Dynasty of Ur ( 2112 BC –  2004 BC).

The altars deceived you it was man in the Garden who did not listen to the command of God not to eat of the knowledge of good and evil. Man created his own gods, anthropomorphic deities .  The altars used it to scare you into coming to church to keep church attendance up, simple as that.  I fear not knowing God who created me more than what man created from an anthropomorphic deity.

Paganism will always keep your eyes off the Word of God, Christ who dwells within us.

Clarification Day

Ron, Where in the Bible is there mention of the 8th day and uncovering woman?

God created Man in the first part of Genesis then the 8th day man-child, Gen.17, the 8th day God ask Man and Woman why they were naked?  Creation only took 7 days that means there is an 8th day. Man and Woman in Christ, pre-fall 7 days creation, Man and Woman after fall, your heart is uncircumcised now, 8th day. Created his own anthropomorphic deities between the floodplains of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.  This is why Babylon is mentioned hundreds of times in the Bible.  The worship of anthropomorphic gods and goddesses an the oblations given to them.

And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man-child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.  Is, is italicized meaning it is past tense points back to Genesis, post fall, man’s sin, Why are you both naked?

If Jesus’s first coming was in the garden, which if true is called a theophanies, wouldn’t subsequent appearances in the Old Testament be considered his second, third, fourth etc. coming?

Again Christ and the 1st century church spoke Aramaic, in the Aramaic language, God is always plural in nature except the first verse of Gen, [God created] because of the adjective created]. In the second verse the Spirit of God, [ God is now plural] then he created ; Gen.1:27-So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  [ God is plural, he is a male pronoun].  He put Christ in the heart of man and woman during the 7 days so this is not a theophanies, it is the Truth, does it not say that Christ dwells within us, if he does not dwell within us where does he dwell?  That is the first coming, the second coming for the Gentiles is when you realize who Christ is, are we not the sons of God.  The third time is your judgement,

When Jesus in the gospels says he is coming back on the clouds, is that not a literal coming back?

The third time is your judgement; And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [Rev.19:13]

Was is past tense; Gen.vs 1:2; the Spirit of God what you see the is the Trinity, God , His Word[ Christ dwells within us] and the Holy Spirit who talks to us through God’s Word.

That is a novice that reads other books or mimics the altars.  I read only the Word not other mens interpretations by the church or the colleges they come out of.

A novice from the altar;

Concerns the scripture Gen 2; 22-21

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. [ brought is the key word]

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

He then went on to say that the rib is the strongest bone on the body.  then He derailed it by making the following statement; the Woman is a partner to the Man; Man birthed Woman then Woman birthed Man.  If you ascend the scriptures you will find the following;

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him [Gen.2:18]   It seems to me call me crazy but the Woman is the help meet of the Lord to birth His children not a partner, co-equal.  God created Woman man birthed anthropomorphic deities[gods and goddesses] that is what man birthed and deceived the Woman in the garden eg. the snake.

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;[ Gen.2:21]

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. [ brought is the key word] Gen.2:21]

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. [Gen.2:24]

And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. [Gen. 3:20]

And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. [Gen.3:13] — Serpents (Hebrew: נחש‎ nāḥāš) are referred to in both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament. The symbol of a serpent or snake played important roles in religious and cultural life of ancient Egypt, Canaan, Mesopotamia and Greece. The serpent was a symbol of evil power and chaos from the underworld as well as a symbol of fertility, life and healing.  Religion is man-made or paganism, a cult following.

Then the devil at the altar;

confessed that “when a Christian tells me that he does not love the Virgin, that he does not look for the Virgin, to pray to him, it makes me sad”.

I must be sad all the time , I’m one of the sons of God I pray to God who created me not a consort of Ishtar.

Me I just read the Word and let the Holy Spirit guide my walk.  Woman is the weaker vessel but she is stronger in her belief of one God then man.
