To the remnant of the Church those that wish to defend their knowledge of the Word.  Over one billion Christians in the world and only a remnant will go through the gates of Jerusalem.  This can be seen in the Old Testament every time the Jewish people strayed from the Lord, only a few remained that heard the Lords’ voice.  Today we pick up in Rev.17: 15 -18

15 “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth,  are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues”

This is the other part of the narration belonging to the harlot, shown in the vision.(Re17:3)  In this history of the harlot, these three things are distinctly propounded, what is her magnificence, in this verse, what is her fall, and by whom it shall happen to her, and lastly, who that harlot is.  This passage which by order of nature should have been the first, is, therefore, made the last because it was more fit to be joined with the next chapter.  That is, as changing and variable as the waters, Upon the foundation, sits this harlot as queen, a vain person, on that which is vain.

16″And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire”

The ten kings, as (Re.17:12)  The accomplishment of the fact and event is daily increased in in this age by the singular providence and most mighty government of God.  The facts are set out in this verse, and the causes are in the following verses.

17″For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast until the words of God shall be fulfilled”

A reason rendered from the chief efficient cause, which is the providence of God, by which alone John by inversion of order affirms to have come to pass, both that the kings should execute on the harlot that which pleased God, and which he declared in the verse before: and also that by one consent and counsel, they should give their kingdom to the beast, etc. (Re. 17:13 -14) for those being blinded have before depended on the call of the beast that lifts up the harlot, so it is said, that afterward, it shall come to pass, that they shall fall away frorm her, when their hearts shall be turned into a better state by the grace of God.

18″And the woman which thou sawest is that  great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth”

That is, Rome that great city, or only city the king and head of which was then the emperor, but now the pope, since the condition of the beast was changed

During the course of this study.  My Lord diverted my gaze back to Babylon around 538 BCE.  The angel of the Lord moved me through the history of Jews at Babylon down to the first century, Jerusalem and the times of Christ and the Apostles.

I asked My Lord why show me these things?  The angel of the Lord came from the north in a whirlwind of light and showed me in a vision many years ago before I turned to Christ, I was headed down the highway to the new city of Jerusalem to find the heart of Christ. I was shown that the path is fraught with danger, you have highwaymen and robbers, who will deceive you.  They sit under a fig tree and present you with all kinds of indulgences of the heathens for you to buy, beautiful ornaments, jewelry, precious stones, gold, and emeralds etc.  The Angel of the Lord showed me what was in the heart of the Whore: and the multitude of the blood of the saints that drip from her mouth, across her chest, down her legs and lay in a sea at her feet.  There I saw the blood of the saints dry up and return to the dust where we came from. In the day of the Lord, the beast will return to the sea with the blood of the saints where she came from. The angel departed and went back into the heavens in a whirlwind of light.

When I started my journey to Jerusalem many years ago. I traveled along the main highways leading to Jerusalem to seek the heart of My Lord. However, along the way, I became disillusioned with the whore and decided to take a less trodden secondary road to Jerusalem. The secondary roads were only 6 foot wide, enough for a cart to travel down but it led to the heart of Christ in Jerusalem. Like it is written the path is narrow and only a few will enter the gates.

Tomorrow we will meet at the heart of Christ.

Look at Christ on the Cross and tell him, I am a sinner, I want to follow you, forgive me for my sins and the sins of those committed against me I believe at that point you are reborn and Christ will advocate for you in the Throne room.

Remember to dine in the Throne room with your Father, ask questions and say your prayers.  If you do not know Christ, ask Him into your life.

We will meet again tomorrow at the hem of Christ in the hot dusty streets of Jerusalem.  Come with a thirst and hunger, Christ will feed you.
