To the remnant of the Church those that wish to defend their knowledge of the Word.  Over one billion Christians in the world and only a remnant will go through the gates of Jerusalem.  This can be seen in the Old Testament every time the Jewish people strayed from the Lord, only a few remained that heard the Lords’ voice.  Today we pick up in Rev.17: 12 – 14

It must be remembered that John wrote this prophetic vision on the isle of Patmos.  He wrote this around the latter part of the first century.

12 “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast”

This is the third part of the description it is a prophetical prediction of things to come, ” which the beast should do”. ” Which have not received the Kingdom”.  First, the persons are described in this verse, then their deeds, in the two verses following.  That is, arsing with their kingdoms out of the Roman beast: such time as the political empire began to fall began to fall by the plotting of the popes.

This is the second beast, who is the false prophet, who ascended out of eath, got to himself all the authority and power of the first beast, and exercised the same before his face, as said in Re. 14: 11,12.

When the political empire of the west began to bow downwards, there arose the ten kings, and the second beast took the opportunity offered to usurp for himself all the power of the former beast (Babylon).  The second beast is Rome and the third beast is the onset of progressive theology. Father is gender neutral.  The kings long ago have been numbered and described to be ten, and a great part of the events unfolding that testifies to our age.

13″These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast”.

That is by consent and agreement, that they may conspire with the beast, and depend on his call. The story is divided into three parts, counsels, acts and events. The counselors some of them consist in communicating of judgments and affections: an some in communicating of power, which they gave to the beast (Rome), in this verse.

14″These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called and chosen, and faithful”.

The beast shall make war against Christ and the Church and as it states the Lamb will overcome and only the remnant that are called and chosen and faithful will be with Him for eternity.

I would advise the multitude out there to dwell on this verse to understand those that are called and chosen.

Tomorrow will pick up in Rev.17:15.

Look at Christ on the Cross and tell him, I am a sinner, I want to follow you, forgive me for my sins and the sins of those committed against me I believe at that point you are reborn and Christ will advocate for you in the Throne room.

Remember to dine in the Throne room with your Father, ask questions and say your prayers.  If you do not know Christ, ask Him into your life.

We will meet again tomorrow at the hem of Christ in the hot dusty streets of Jerusalem.  Come with a thirst and hunger, Christ will feed you.
