From an elder to the elect ladies and to the saints in Christ. The elect ladies are to be commended for their virtuous and religious education of her children; is exhorted to abide in the doctrine of Christ, to persevere truth, and carefully to avoid the delusions of false teachers. To practice the great commandment of Christian love and charity.

To the elect, I have traveled around the countryside for 30 yrs and I never heard of a sermon extolling the Virtuous Women that follow Christ. Her stature is great in the Kingdom of our Lord.  She takes care of your[men] sanctuary providing the need of her family so there is not a want of anything.  She is up before the rest of the household to prepare food; which has been gained by her knowledge and wisdom and puts on her clothes of strength and honour instead of sowed fig leaves.  Due to her reverence, her children and husband blesses her.
To the elect saints, you are commanded to give your wives due reverence for their diligence in the fruits of her hands; like it states wisdom springs from her tongue the act of kindness.  Her love is boundless as is our Lord.

31:11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of h spoil.
    • (h) He will not need to use any unlawful means to gain his living.
31:15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth food to her household, and a i portion to her maidens.
    • (i) She prepares their food early.
31:16 She considereth a field, and k buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
    • (k) She purchases it with the gains of her travail.
31:23 Her husband is known in the l gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
    • (l) In the assemblies and places of judgment.
31:25 m Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
    • (m) After he had spoken of the apparel of the body, he now declares the apparel of the spirit.
31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and on her tongue [is] the n law of kindness.
    • (n) Her tongue is a book by which one might learn many good things: for she delights to talk of the word of God.
31:28 Her children rise up, and o call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her.
    • (o) That is, do her reverence.
31:31 Give p her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the q gates.
    • (p) Confess her diligent labors, and commend her, therefore.
    • (q) Forasmuch as the most honorable are clad in the apparel that she made.

To the elected ladies put your name in the highlighted words put your name in it ie, Marie, Rebecca, Terry, Michelle etc.  Refer to: Whats in a Name.  This is one reason that women are not to be pastors but are to be teachers of their family, children, and husbands.  There is a co-equal of shared responsibilities in a marriage convent.  Between the saints and the elect ladies with faith in our Lord that has risen.

Read the Bible, meditate with your Father and ask questions.  Seek your honour and strength in the Lord.  Clothe yourself with knowledge and wisdom instead of fig leaves. Amen.

Have a great weekend with the Lord.
